Happy Easter!

I love Easter! For me, it's like Christmas, but better. The only thing more special than the birth is the resurrection. Sunday was a great day!! We woke up to surprises from the Easter bunny...

I LOOOOOOOOOVE this face!!! He lets me love and sniff on him in the morning at will:)

We got all dolled up and celebrated our Lord and Savior!

Uncle John got to fly in from Utah, we were so excited he could be here to celebrate with us! It was the first time in a long time my entire family was able to get together!

The kids got to spend some much needed time with Honey and Boppa.

Lately, we've been spending A LOT of time here...

This just looks like trouble!!

Catch and Release

Matt brought home a turtle he found outside a couple weeks ago. Ella was ecstatic! She LOVES. ALL. THE. ANIMALS! She would jump out of bed in the morning and say, "I'm going to check on my turtle!" Ella named him....wait for it....Cale baby turtle. Creative, I know. And, between Cale trying to eat him, Ella OVER-feeding him and Matt putting a rock in the container big enough for him to climb out and walk on the counter I'm surprised he made it in this house at all-but he did. However, yesterday we had to let him go. Ella cried as she did not like this idea, but his stinch said otherwise and I was able to assure her putting him back in his home would be best for him...she politely obliged. So, we walked down to the pond and set him free.


Ella and "Cale baby turtle" for the last time. You'd never guess we had had a traumatic melt down only 10 short minutes before this was taken. Putting him back home. Ella is saying bye, I don't think Cale knows what he's supposed to be looking at!

And, the booger on the right looks pretty good for having surgery only the day before. He's doing really well by the way!!
